FollowLike – Social ExchangeTips on self-publishing and how to succeed as an Indie author

June 12, 2016 by

FollowLike - Social Exchange One of the challenges to getting word out about our books is to get the SEO (search engine optimization) of the website up. Why? So more people get to stumble upon it and have the chance to meet our books. Honestly, I am no SEO person but I am willing to learn. I came across this website (called FollowLike) which seems promising to help get website sharing and social shares up, all still abiding to the FB laws and best practices. Check this out and tell me what you think. Personally, i feel the site is confusing ...

Link Intelligence Tools – MajesticTips on self-publishing and how to succeed as an Indie author

June 12, 2016 by

Link Intelligence Tools - to increase your SEO. When I first started writing I had no clue what SEO (Search engine optimization) is. Basically it's what you want to do for your site--to optimize its visibility so when the Google or any of the other bots or crawlers come and they read your content they will decide to place your website at the top of the pile--meaning on the first page. April 9, 2016 by

Some feel that just because the protagonist (hero or heroine) is a teen, then the book is a YA. Never mind that the main character behaves like an adult and there is explicit sex and the book's spewing foul language every few paragraphs.   As a parent of pre-teen and even young teens, ...

Why I Wrote Middle Grade Adventure Fantasy Keeper Of Reign

January 20, 2016 by

Thought I'd let my readers of Keeper of Reign, some of the back story of how and why I wanted to write this allegorical fantasy for children 10 to 16. One of the things that helped me to hone in on the theme for Keeper of Reign is the song from Switchfoot. When I first heard their song , "Meant to Live" (for so much more) it got me thinking about how far short so many of us fall from our true potential. The trials and troubles of this world reduce us, and, at least for me, it feels that our troubled ...
